Application of the castor seed oil modified polyol UCTC series

The castor seed oil modified polyol UCTC series are based on the natural castor oil as raw material, which is renewable.

Characteristic:  UCTC series products make full use of castor oil low viscosity, low foaming, pigment dispersion, water resistance, insulation properties, impact resistance and other characteristics, there is a long molecular fat chain in the molecule, so that the synthetic product has a strong toughness, but also retains the rigid molecules, in the hardness of the product also has a relatively excellent performance.

The aromatic structure in the molecule can interact with the metal surface and has good compactness, which greatly improves the adhesion of the product on the metal surface.

The product comes from the modification of the polyol of castor oil, and the molecular structure is regular and single, which is easy to control the microcrystalline distribution in the molecular microstructure. After reacting with MDI, the UCTC series exhibits excellent physical properties, excellent metal surface adhesion, and a high degree of impact and water resistance.

Application

Widely used in the production of anti-corrosion coatings, adhesives, floor coatings, elastomers and other fields.

According to the different activities of the mixed hydroxyl groups, and the characteristics of thermal stability, water resistance, acid resistance and solvent resistance, functional polyurethane materials with different hardness can be produced
