Chemical Name: Tetrabromophthalic anhydride diol
Alias: PHT-4 Diol
CAS Number: 77098-07-8
EU CAS number: 20566-35-2
Molecular Formula: C15H16O7Br4
Molecular mass: 627.8
Application:
Tetrabromophthalic anhydride is a reactive flame retardant intermediate mainly used for flame retardant hard foam, with the appearance of a slightly faded viscous liquid, mainly used as a reactive flame retardant for the production of Class I and Ii polyurethane rigid foam (PUR). Foam materials containing tetrabromophthalic anhydride diol have a very low smoke rate and flame spread rate, and the foam materials processed with them can obtain excellent physical properties and relatively low costs, and can also be used to produce flame-retardant polyurethane gaskets, elastomer materials, coating adhesives and textiles.
